About Us

 ​The CAO Research Foundation (CAORF) is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve patients’ lives through collaborative support of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal research. 

The Foundation prioritizes practical research on orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, and sports-related injuries with wide-ranging potential applications, with the goal of advancing our ability to effectively treat and prevent these injuries. The Foundation funds research and provides wrap-around support services to researchers whose goals are aligned with those of the Foundation.
